Brightness and power requirements

Brightness is stored in the panels, not in FinishLynx or ResulTV. The 360 ships with the NovaLCT program to change it, for the dark (at night) or direct sunlight. All three displays run on 100 to 240 V AC, 50 or 60 Hz, but they draw a lot of current at full brightness, so plan the supply for the whole display.

How to fix it

Adjust the brightness on a 360

  1. Wire and power on the panels as normal.
  2. Plug the USB cable's square end into the USB Out port on the LED Sending Box and the other end into your computer. The cable is only needed while changing brightness.
  3. Install NovaLCT from the Lynx USB drive.
  4. Run NovaLCT and click the Brightness icon.
  5. Set the level with the slider or text box (maximum 255). The display changes when you release the slider or enter a value.
  6. Click Save to HW to keep the setting in the panels. Close NovaLCT and remove the USB cable.

Power supply

  • Input: AC 100 to 240 V, 50 to 60 Hz on the Infield, 360 and Portable Displays.
  • Maximum draw: about 15 amps for a 360 single and about 30 amps for a 360 double.
  • Maximum consumption: 1560 W per side on an Infield display (520 W average), 1660 W per row of 4 panels on a 360 (360 W average), 390 W on a Portable Display (130 W average).
  • All the panels on a display are fed through the single Power Input Cable on Panel 1, plus a separate power cable for the LED Sending Box.
  • The full specifications are in the datasheets: Infield display, 360 display, Portable Display.

The Infield display guides have no brightness step. For an Infield display that is too dim or too bright, use the button below.
