Scroll up and down when zoomed in
Zoomed in, the image is taller than its pane, so the top or bottom lanes drop out of view. The scroll bar on the right side of the image pane moves it up and down; the mouse wheel only moves it sideways, through the race.
How to fix it
Move the image up or down
- Drag the box in the scroll bar on the right side of the image pane, or click its arrows. Clicking between the box and an arrow moves a full screen
- Or press Ctrl+Up or Ctrl+Down arrow: the image and the hash line move together. Add Shift to move a page at a time
- Or hold the mouse button down and move the pointer against the top or bottom edge of the image: it rolls that way
- The mouse wheel moves the image back and forward through the race. Hold Shift with the wheel to page, or Ctrl to jump to the beginning or end
See every lane at once
- Zoom out with the − button on the image tool bar, Image | Zoom out or Ctrl+−
- Before zooming in again, point the cross hair at the part you want to keep in view: zoom centers on it
In align mode
- Zoom and scroll work in align mode too (Image | Zoom in and Zoom out)
- The Hardware Control window keeps the zoom and scroll position until you select a different camera
The manual's Image Zone and Image Tools pages list every scroll and zoom shortcut.
