How do MeetPro, MileSplit and Athletic.net RunMeet connect to FinishLynx?

Through the same shared folder as any meet software: MeetPro from Interfaces | F.A.T., RunMeet through the AthleticLOCAL app. MileSplit doesn't connect directly; MeetPro sits between it and FinishLynx.

MeetPro: in MeetPro, go to Interfaces | F.A.T. | Setup and set the FinishLynx data directories to the shared folder (Lynx recommends keeping it on the FinishLynx computer and mapping it as a network drive on the MeetPro computer). Write start lists with Interfaces | F.A.T. | Update Start Lists. In FinishLynx, set the Input and Output Directory to that folder, restart, then File | Goto Event and Load Schedule. After saving a race, click Get Event Results in MeetPro's Enter Results screen.

MileSplit: it does not connect to FinishLynx directly. MileSplit handles entries and results publishing, and MeetPro is the meet software in between that talks to FinishLynx. Pulling entries from MileSplit and publishing results back is covered by MeetPro's and MileSplit's own documentation.

Athletic.net RunMeet: it connects through Athletic.net's AthleticLOCAL app, which writes lynx.evt, lynx.ppl and lynx.sch into a folder and uploads the .lif files FinishLynx saves. No extra Lynx plug-ins or licenses are needed. Set the Start Lists Folder and Results Folder in AthleticLOCAL, point FinishLynx's Database directories at the same folders, and open events from Load Schedule so each .lif carries the event, round and heat numbers.

Questions about the meet itself inside MeetPro or RunMeet are handled by those companies; Lynx support covers the FinishLynx side. Setup for each program is under Meet management connections in Troubleshoot.
