Can we use a second or borrowed camera with our system?
Yes, as long as you don't mix a Scholastic (FinishLynx LITE) camera with a non-Scholastic one. A borrowed IdentiLynx loads with default settings, so set it up again.
Yes. A second EtherLynx camera, such as one borrowed from another school, works with your FinishLynx system as long as you are not mixing a Scholastic (FinishLynx LITE) camera with a non-Scholastic one. To check which you have, see How to tell which one you have.
Taking your IdentiLynx to another meet as a second camera needs nothing special, except that newer IdentiLynx models may need the host computer to run a recent FinishLynx. The camera loads with default settings on a computer it hasn't used before, so set up its Camera Settings (such as Automatic Capture) again.
