Damage

A damaged scoreboard will most likely need a repair: submit an RMA and send it in to Lynx. Two cases are worth a check first.

How to fix it

If the board won't power on or charge

A dead board isn't always a damaged one. Work through the battery, charging and 12 V checks in Race clock dead or won't charge first.

If an LED board shows lines, blocks or corrupted pixels

  1. Note whether it has looked like this since the first power-up, and whether every panel is affected or only some.
  2. Say so when you submit an RMA. On new panels this has been a panel configuration problem that Lynx fixed in a remote session, without the board going anywhere.
  3. For that session, have a Windows computer ready that you can connect by USB to the display's LED sending unit.
