FinishLynx asks for a serial number again after an update. What do I enter?

Read the prompt: it names the serial it wants. A built-in plug-in (Remote Control, Data Port) is removed with its uninstaller in C:\Lynx; the main serial coming back means it wasn't accepted, and Help | About says DEMO.

The prompt names the serial it wants. Two plug-ins that are now built into FinishLynx cause most of these prompts, and both are fixed by removing the old plug-in:

For any other plug-in (RadioLynx, LapTime, Automatic Capture), enter that plug-in's own serial from your serial sheet or from Help | About on the old computer. Plug-in serials are separate from the FinishLynx serial.

If the main FinishLynx serial keeps coming back, open Help | About: DEMO means it wasn't accepted. Enter only the FinishLynx serial at the prompt, type it rather than pasting it (check the zero against the letter O and the one against the letter I), and install into the same C:\Lynx folder as the existing copy. A FinishLynx LITE serial is only accepted by the FinishLynx LITE installer: see Serial number not accepted. Lost a serial? See Lost serial numbers.
