RadioLynx sent the start but FinishLynx never got it. Can I still time the race?
Yes. Press Repeat on the transmitter before the next gun: it resends the last start with its original time, so the race is still timed correctly.
RadioLynx signals carry a time stamp. If the transmitter sent the start but FinishLynx didn't receive it (for example, the camera was offline at the gun), press Repeat on the transmitter once the camera and FinishLynx are back. FinishLynx starts the clock from the original start time.
Press Repeat before the starter fires again: Repeat resends the transmitter's last signal only.
If Repeat isn't an option, FinishLynx can still take a start afterward: a start it did receive (Event | Select Start), a TOD start if you know the time of day the gun fired, or an Image Start with an offset from one athlete's known hand time. All four options, in order, are on the page below.
A missed start can be added afterwards, but missed image can't: if capture was off when athletes crossed, those finishes weren't recorded.

- My results are in military time (time of day). How do I fix it? — No start is applied to the event. Pick the right start from the list of starts and apply it; for a saved event use Event | Select Start.
- Why isn't my RadioLynx working properly? — Work through the paperclip test to find which part has failed: the transmitter beeping with the start says whether the sensor and cable are fine, and the test needs only an unfolded paperclip.
- RadioLynx works most of the time but misses some starts. What do I check? — Recover the race with Repeat first. Then check the antennas, cable an electronic gun to the transmitter instead of using a sound sensor, tighten the input cable, run the paperclip test and charge the transmitter.
