My results are in military time (time of day). How do I fix it?
No start is applied to the event. Pick the right start from the list of starts and apply it; for a saved event use Event | Select Start.
Results in military time mean no start time has been applied to the event: what you see is the time of day the athletes crossed the line. Race times of around 16 hours, or a negative time after clicking Arm Event, have the same cause.
If the event is still open: select the proper start in the list of start signals toward the top of the screen and click the button to its right, Apply Selected Start to the Selected Event. Click the finish times to check they recalculate to valid race times. You may need to try more than one start.
If the event was saved and reopened: go to Event | Select Start, pick the start closest to the race from the list, click OK, then check the times in the Results.
If none of the starts give valid race times, FinishLynx never received the start. You can still add one afterward: press Repeat on a RadioLynx transmitter, enter a TOD start if you know when the gun fired, or use an Image Start from one athlete's known time. See Recover a race after a missed start.
If a "start sensors failed to arm" message appears when you open events, fix that first: "All start sensors failed to arm".

- RadioLynx sent the start but FinishLynx never got it. Can I still time the race? — Yes. Press Repeat on the transmitter before the next gun: it resends the last start with its original time, so the race is still timed correctly.
- "All start sensors failed to arm" pops up when I open an event. What now? — FinishLynx can't see a start input it expects. Set both start tabs in Camera Settings to match how you really start races, even the one you don't use, then load the event again.
